The company was formed in late 2013. It is owned by the husband and wife team of Dr. Rakesh Shukla and Kiran Shukla.

Rakesh has Master‘s Degree in engineering and Ph.D. in management. He has studied and worked in a number of countries and extensively travelled worldwide. Since 2007, he has settled in Auckland. Rakesh has held senior management positions with international companies and has working experience of over 30 years. His last executive position was Country Manager (India), from 1997 to 2007, for Beca International Consultants Ltd., a subsidiary of Beca, New Zealand, which is one of the largest employee owned professional consulting companies in the Asia-Pacific region (www.beca.co.nz). Rakesh has also taught management subjects at colleges in New Zealand for over 5 years.

Kiran has Master‘s degree in science and supervisory level commercial experience of over 25 years with an international company. She has travelled worldwide and loves meeting people and contributing in any way she can to address their specific problems. Kiran is a sharp observer and a great trouble shooter. She has completed business papers in marketing, organization and management, business communication and Leadership in New Zealand. She is closely associated in business with Rakesh.

Eon Developers Ltd (EDL) also buys , owns and develops properties on its own. Therefore, at all times EDL remains in direct touch with the Auckland property market and has ‘hands-on‘ knowledge.

EDL currently operates only in selected Central and South regions of Auckland.
